대상지인 개포 9단지는 강남구 일원동에 위치하고 있으며 교육/생활/교통 등 편리한 도시기반시설과 양재천 대모산등 풍부한 자연환경을 갖추고 있다. 이러한 대상지를 발주처의 개발목표인 노후주거환경의 개선, 합리적 기능과 경제성을 고려한 개발을 위해 주민인터뷰와 설문조사, 향후 예측 및 분석 등 다양한 방법을 통해 방향을 설정하고자 하였으며, 이러한 방법을 통해 도시/자연의 공존, 다양한 세대구성원간의 조화, 대모산조망과 수목보존, 커뮤니티시설의 연계라는 방향을 설정하여 계획하였다.

The Gaepo Complex 9 is located in Ilwon-dong, Gangnam-gu, and contains a plethora of convenient urban facilities such as those for education, daily life, transportation, and the natural environment, including natural features such as the Yangjaecheon Stream and Daemosan Mountain. To meet the client’s development target of improving the old housing environment and achieving development through the consideration of reasonable functions and economic feasibility, we set our design direction through various different methodologies, including interviews and surveys of local residents, as well as future prediction and analysis. Through these methods, we made the following plans with the goal of ensuring a coexistence of city/nature, a harmony of various household unit members, the conservation of views towards Daemosan Mountain, as well as the preservation of the mountain’s greenery itself, and a connection of community facilities.
