행복한 젖소에서 얻은 우유를 청정한 친환경 공장에서 가공되어 신선함을 유지시키는 콜드시스템을 통해 행복한 우유를 생산하는 최첨단 서울우유 신공장을 계획하였다.
We have planned the design for a new Seoul Milk factory, which will produce happy milk from happy cows with a state-of-the-art cold system that maintains the freshness of the milk in a clean and eco-friendly factory. Centered around the central traffic flow, the Production and Office Blocks are clearly separated from the main flow of visitors, and considering the symbolism that can be seen from the entry, we have arranged the Office Block towards the front of the site to better allow for future expansion of each individual block. Regarding the flow of vehicular traffic, we have secured a large amount of parking spaces, as well as a wide traffic lane designated for freight trucks and passenger vehicles, while also designing the layout for a smooth flow of circulation throughout the entire complex. At the same time, we planned to ensure smooth access to each block, with milk-bulk tanks going to the Nursing Block, shipment vehicles to the Milk and Formula Blocks, vehicles to the Processed Goods Block, and stocking vehicles to the raw material warehouse. In addition, we have designed a separate parking plan for workers and a separate parking lot for visitors and tourists located at the front and back of the Office Block. Through the planning of the main outdoor space, we designed what we call Nuri Plaza, a Wildflower Floor, the Kid's Animal Farm, and additional outdoor spaces for both visitors and workers to enjoy. We utilized a unique elevation pattern plan to best embody Seoul Milk’s fresh image as a natural Eco-Factory, thanks in large part to its implementation of its always-running cold chain system. The front view of the complex is designed to express the freshness and cleanliness of the milk, and it emphasizes the symbolic axis of the Milk Block, processing, and management tour, which all use a pattern derived from the Seoul Milk symbol logo whilst also enabling the ability to be able to witness spectacular natural views from the observation deck. The side view works to create a sense of community through the Dairy Support Center, and is aesthetically represented through the color of a raw milk tank. We also designed an advertising plan that revolves around the main outdoor LED display board located at the entrance of the complex.
